Bowling is a sport in which players attempt to score points by rolling a bowling ball along a flat surface, usually a wooden or synthetic surface, either into pins or to get close to a target ball.
There are different kinds of equipments in bowling:
Ball
Bowling balls vary from game to game. Ten-pin balls are large, up to 2.25 feet around (approximately 4.8 inches across), and have three finger holes arranged triangularly for the ring finger, middle finger and the thumb. The balls come in various weights as high as 16lbs, with the size and spacing of the finger holes often smaller on lighter balls to accommodate smaller hands. Balls for other games can vary, candlepin balls fitting in the palm of the hand, needing no holes.
Shoes
Bowling shoes possess an intermediate style between regular dressing shoes and the athletic type. The sole of the non sliding foot is generally made of rubber similar to that of a basketball sneaker to create stability, while the sliding foot is made of a much softer material that allows a bowler to slide into his release. These shoes can be bought, but they are normally rented.

Bowling Rules and Regulations:
*Keep your body behind the foul line when throwing the ball. If any part of the body encroaches on the foul-line area, a penalty will be called and the pin count from the throw will b mark as zero.
*Inspect all 10 pins for positioning and condition before starting a frame. Under USBC (United States Bowling Congress) rules, you are entitled to request a respotting of errant pins and replacement of damage pins before your turn. The pins should be set in a triangle shape with one pin up front and four pins in the rear.
*Observe the pinfall on your opponents throw to report any illegal contact or activity. Pins knocked over the machines, human pinsetters and balls rebounding off the backstop must be placed in their original spots on the second throw.
*Locate a regulation bowling ball to conform to USBC rules and regulations.
*Clear your gloves, hand guards and other accessories with league officials before starting your first bowling game.
